We take security and compliance seriously. Your patients' data is handled with the highest standards at every step.
We are not currently certified under SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and we do not claim to be. Taizo is built and operated to UK GDPR expectations: data is hosted in the UK, encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per clinician and organisation, and clinical record access is audited. Our data protection documentation and sub-processor register are available on request.
Our security principles
Audio kept only briefly
Recordings are stored encrypted in the UK only while they are needed to produce and correct the note, then deleted automatically (30 days by default).
Your data is never used to train AI
Taizo does not train AI models on patient or personal data. Your information always remains private and under your control.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All traffic uses TLS, and data is encrypted at rest in UK-hosted Azure storage.
Strict access control
Role-based access controls ensure only authorised personnel can access sensitive data. All access is logged and audited.
UK hosting
Your data is hosted in UK Azure regions. Transcription and note generation use sub-processors listed in our register.
Incident response
We maintain a comprehensive incident response plan with 24/7 monitoring and rapid response procedures.
